This vest was designed for two purposes in dog training. The first was to be used to build a dogs muscle. The second was to tire out a dog that has aggressive problems. A tired dog is a lot easier to handle when training.

The Weight Vest is made from heavy cordura denier backed fabric that is double stitched in construction. This vest was designed with safety of the dog in mind. On the underside of the vest the back & shoulder areas are felt & sheepskin lined. The girth and chest straps are also sheepskin lined.

The large Weight Vest has ten zippered pockets. The medium Weight Vest has eight zippered pockets. Each pocket holds a one pound weight. The weights are covered for easy removal. The chest and girth straps are adjustable. The large Weight Vest will fit a girth between 34-38 inches. The medium Weight Vest will fit a girth from 27-34 inches. The small Weight Vest will fit a girth between 22-27 inches.

There is an advantage to training a dog with weights for several reasons. Just like people who train with ankle weights then take the weights off when they run the race have better muscle power and control, our weight training vests & collar have the same purpose and effect.

These weight training aids also work for those who work their dogs in the weight pulling sport. The weights come with the vest and additional weights can be purchased. Never start out a dog with the full amount of weight, build up to the weight desired gradually and safety should be first in mind when using this item
