Indestructible Muscle Building Ball
This is the greatest dog neck and jaw muscle builder you will ever find. A couple of years ago we were camping and we found a blue 10# bowling ball. We drug it home and our large Rottie loved it. My GS was only 6 months old at the time and could not move it around as well as he wanted to. So I remodeled it for him and he started to drag it all around the yard. It was so funny as he could only carry it a couple of inches at that time and looked like a pregnant woman waddling. At this point he is 4 years old and has the neck of a stallion and a very strong jaw. This is the only toy that he has not totally destroyed. The ball is to hard to get his teeth into it so it can not wear down the teeth.
He can carry it for blocks and plays soccer with it. It is truly hilarious to watch him bat it between his front and back feet growling, howling, whimpering and carrying on over this ball. This can take hours and eventually he will just lay down with his mouth open and slim all over the ball. I tell him it’s the bad guy and he charges it. He loves to pick it up run away from you and play tag with it. I have a good friend who also does Schutzhund work and I made a ball for her three females and they have the same reaction to the ball as my dog does. They run over to their playpen and wait for the gate to open so they can get to the ball. I went through four different types of cables until I finally found one that would withstand the dogs back razor teeth. The dog can with time get through the top layer of the handle which is hockey tape and you can rewrap the handle if you choose. The colors of the balls vary. The size varies in weight from 6 to 12 pound balls.

THE SPIRIT OF A DOG
I was standing on a hillside
In a field of blowing wheat,
And the spirit of a dog
Was lying at my feet.
He looked at me with kind dark eyes,

In the essence of his being,
I saw the love there too.
