Fabric Scratch PantsThese scratch pants are made from puncture resistant fabric. The entire front of the pants is padded. The entire interior of these scratch pants are lined with a sports fabric called "wicking fabric". This wicking fabric pulls the heat and moisture away from the body. These pants are professionally hand quilted and all seams are reinforced. The side of the legs have long zippers so you can easily slip these over your shoes.
Leather Scratch ApronThis leather apron is heaven in the hot weather when doing protection work with your dog. The leather apron comes on and off easily and is much cooler than protection pants. You still have protection from those dog nails scratching you. This leather apron is quilted suede leather for durability and lined for comfort.
Leather Scratch JacketOur Leather Scratch Jacket is made from the same suede leather that we make our leather scratch pants from. The entire leather jacket and sleeve are fully lined. The sleeve can be worn on either arm for a right or left hand helper. Schutzhund rules state that the helper must wear a jacket while doing the helper work in a trial.
Leather Scratch PantsThere is no substitute for real leather scratch pants. Leather pants give you better protection. The durability of leather can not be beat. These pants are fully front padded. We make these pants with the upmost attention to detail. They are hand quilted. The lining in all our scratch pants is a special sports wick linning that absords moisture and pulls the heat away from the body.
Nylon Scratch PantsWe have been asked to come up with nylon light-weight flashy scratch pants and so we did. These pants were designed for flexibility with a light-weight nylon oxford material. They are a stunning patriotic color scheme of red, white, blue, and black background. These scratch pants are the traditional double belt bib design.
Scratch JacketOur scratch jacket is made from the same puncture resistant fabric that we make our scratch pants from. I have been asked why we do not use nylon to make our scratch pants and jackets. It would be less expensive for us to use nylon but our experience with nylon in this type of application is that it tends to run, snags and is hot to wear.
