Easy Open French Scissor Snap
If you have hand mobility problems this is an excellent short working lead because of the unique HS French Scissor Snap. This snap opens very easily and yet is very secure on the dog. The snap works much like a tongs that one would use to take canning jars from the kettle. When you squeeze the snap it opens when it is closed and the more pressure that is on the snap the tighter the snap closes. It works much like a reverse tweezers, it is strong, closes tight, yet when you need to let the dog loose it is very easy to open by squeezing the snap together.

This short leather lead has a floating ring made into the handle loop portion so you can attach a longer leash if desired. You can hook the short lead onto the vest for future use and it is short enough so it will not drag on the ground. This short leather lead will also work well as a traffic lead, or use for applications when working with a child that needs to lead the dog while you are holding onto a longer lead. The length of this lead is 12 inches and made from two layers of stitched and riveted leather
