Small Dog 1.6mm Stainless Training Prong Collar
This is the tiniest of prong training collars. The collar is not a Herm Sprenger brand collar, but we have listed it here because of the type of training collar it is. This little 1.6mm collar is stainless steel. The photo with the little dog is a Min Pin. If you properly fit these tiny dogs that have a big attitude it will make life better for you and them both. This is NOT A Cruel collar to train a small dog with. If the collar is properly fitted your little power dog will learn quickly to walk along with you without pulling and cutting off its air which it can do with a normal collar. We have all seen those little breeds such as Jack Russell's, Min Pins, and other small breeds, pulling themselves and constantly coughing and choking while they try to pull themself out of the collar. This little Training Prong Collar addresses that problem. This type collar should never be used by children or persons who do not properly know how to fit the dog. As in the photos the collar should fit securly on the dogs neck sitting right up behind the ears. And using the two rings together on the leash snap will be an easy transition for the dog to learn how to comfortably walk and train with it's handler.

You can open the links up and place on the dog then clip the links back together. If you have a squimery tiny dog like we do, who wants to get out there right now, this is how we put her collar on. We just turn the collar so the prongs are on the outside of the collar, slip it over her head and then turn the prongs to the inside of the collar once it is in the correct position. This collar will fit a dog with a neck up to 11.5".
